Unlike other hardshell cases that are commonly made with ABS plastic, we design our MacBook Hardshells with premium Bayer Makrolon polycarbonate. This durable material is remarkably lightweight and uses low emissions tactics in its creation, resulting in a sustainable and protective hardshell.

The biggest technical problem related to using drones indoor and in confined spaces is the risk of collisions. A collision does not only mean a risk of braking propellers but also a risk of bringing the drone into a position where it can no longer fly. Both situations lead to the same tragic end: a crash.
Unlike many drone manufacturers, we did not set to find a solution to sense and avoid obstacles. We rather opted for a solution to be tolerant to collisions. With this approach, our products started to be used for inspection in dark and complex confined spaces when sense avoid technology was far from being ready for it. Today, it is still extremely difficult to perform these kinds of inspections and get the same level of data quality by relying on sense and avoid technology alone.
Thanks to our proprietary collision tolerant flight algorithm, our latest product – Elios 2 – is the leading platform to perform remote visual inspection in confined spaces available in mass production.
Flyability is not a service provider but a drone manufacturer. We have an internal team of pilots which is primarily assigned to training and demonstrations. No, they are not. However, this does not prevent Flyability clients to inspect tanks, fluid catalytic crackers, oil cargo tanks, and many other places aiming at storing or processing highly explosive goods. Like for any manned inspection, these environments must be cleaned and inerted prior to being inspected. Flyability products still bring tremendous value to our clients and keep in mind, drones do not breathe so they are very comfortable in nitrogen inerted environments.
